A.L.G. Estates operates its own processing plant where high quality, good colour and pleasant tasting fresh juice is produced. Concentrated juice and citrus oil is also produced. All juice is 100% pure with no additives. The concentrated juice is stored in two hundred liter steel drums at –20°C which gives it a considerable shelf life. The plant has a capacity to handle in excess of 20 000 tons of fruit per annum.

Four types of concentrated juice is available namely Nawel, Valencia, Lemon, Mandarin and Star ruby. The mandarin is made up of Clementines, Satsumas and Fairchilds. Grapefruit juice is produced in small quantities when available. Oil is exptracted from the peels and used in industries such as health oils, food spicing and houshold cleaning products. The remaining peels are used as animal fodder.
